Nex.ai Notetaker integration with Zoom
Adding the App
Log in to your Zoom account and open the Zoom App Marketplace.
Search for Nex.ai Notetaker and open the listing.
Click Add to authorize the app.
After authorization, you’ll be redirected to Nex.ai to complete setup.
If your organization uses SSO, sign in with your company credentials and confirm permissions.
Troubleshooting guide: If you see authorization errors or a blank redirect, clear your browser cache, try an incognito window, and ensure your Zoom role has permission to add Marketplace apps.
Usage
After adding, go to Nex.ai and connect your Zoom account in Settings.
Use the integration to sync meetings, fetch recordings, and process transcripts as configured.
Prerequisites: A Zoom account with access to meetings and recordings; permissions granted during authorization.
Example: Schedule a Zoom meeting as usual. Nex.ai will automatically detect it, and once the meeting ends, the recording and transcript (if enabled in Zoom) will appear in Nex.ai for analysis.
Removing the App
Log in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
Click Manage >> Added Apps or search for Nex.ai.
Select Nex.ai and click Remove.
Implications of removal:
Nex.ai will stop receiving Zoom data immediately.
Existing data already processed in Nex.ai remains in your account unless you request deletion.
Data handling after removal:
Tokens are revoked; ingestion ceases.
To delete previously stored data, contact support at support@nex.ai ↗.
Troubleshooting
Adding the app: Ensure you’re signed into the correct Zoom account and have app install permissions.
Scheduling meetings: Verify your Zoom calendar and meeting settings are enabled; re-sync in Nex.ai Settings.
Accessing recordings: Confirm cloud recording is enabled in Zoom and that the Nex.ai integration has recording access scopes.
FAQ
Authorization issues: Check that you approved all requested permissions and that your Zoom admin allows Marketplace apps.
Activation emails: If you don’t receive the Nex.ai welcome email, check spam and confirm your email in Nex.ai Settings.
Unsubscribing from updates: Manage notification preferences in Nex.ai Settings; essential service emails may still be sent.
