Win/Loss Analyst

Win/loss analysis from your calls, email and CRM

Nex runs win loss analysis on every closed deal by rebuilding its timeline from transcripts, email, Slack and CRM history. It finds the real decision drivers and compares them with the closed lost reasons your reps logged.

The problem

The closed lost reason in the CRM is usually a dropdown a rep picked in ten seconds: price, timing, no decision. It rarely matches what the buyer actually said on the last call. A real win loss report means rereading transcripts and threads deal by deal, which nobody has time for, so product and marketing get anecdotes instead of evidence, and the same losses repeat next quarter.

How the agent does it

  1. Set the scope. You define the window, segments and the decision the analysis should inform, and the agent collects every closed-won and closed-lost deal in scope.

  2. Rebuild each deal's timeline. It reconstructs each deal from meetings, transcripts, email, Slack and CRM stage history before comparing deals.

  3. Find the decision drivers. It identifies why each buyer chose, delayed or walked, keeping what the buyer said separate from what the seller logged.

  4. Cluster and score themes. It groups drivers into themes by segment and competitor, and scores each by independent sources, recency and consequence.

  5. Draft feedback for each team. It writes role-specific feedback for product, marketing and sales, and holds buyer interview requests and CRM changes for approval.

Questions

What goes in a win loss report?

The report Nex produces has four parts: a record for each closed deal with its decision drivers and evidence, themes ranked by segment, competitor and stage with a confidence level, a comparison of logged loss reasons against buyer statements, and feedback briefs written for product, marketing and sales.

Can it fix our closed lost reasons in the CRM?

It can propose corrected loss reasons where the evidence disagrees with what was logged. Updating them in HubSpot, Salesforce or Attio requires approval.

Does it record calls or run buyer interviews?

No. It works from transcripts, notes and threads you already have in Nex and your connected tools. It can draft a win/loss interview request, but contacting a buyer requires approval, and it does not replace a dedicated interview service.
