Information We Collect

When you use Nex, we collect the following types of information:

1. Business Information

• Company name, size, industry, public details

• Information you or your users provide about your business

2. Personal Information

• Name, email address, job title, and other details you choose to provide

3. Connected Account Data

• If you connect your email and calendar accounts, we access:

  • Emails and calendar events (to identify contacts you interact with)

  • Metadata (dates, participants, subject lines)

  • We do not read or use email content outside the intended business purpose.

4. Automatically Collected Data

• Product usage metrics and events (through tools like PostHog)

• Technical information such as browser type, IP address, and device information

5. Third-Party Data

• We enrich your business and contact information through third-party providers for a more complete and helpful CRM experience.

Google user data

Nex connects to Google services (Gmail and Google Calendar) only after you explicitly authorize access through Google's consent screen. We use that access solely to provide the features you asked for: syncing your mail and calendar into your workspace's context, and — when you instruct Nex to — sending or replying to email, managing labels and filters, and creating or updating calendar events on your behalf. You can see exactly which permissions you granted, and revoke them at any time.

Nex's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. For Google Workspace data, we also follow the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy. In practice:

• We use your Google data only to power the features you can see in Nex. We never use it for advertising or retargeting, we never sell it, and we never share it with data brokers or information resellers.

• We do not use your Google data to train general-purpose AI models. Nex uses AI to process your data on your behalf — for example, to summarize a thread or extract context from your mail — but that processing serves only your workspace. Neither we nor our AI providers use your Google data to train or improve generalized machine-learning models.

• We share your Google data only where it's needed to deliver those features — with the cloud infrastructure that hosts Nex, and with the AI and tool-execution providers that carry out the actions you request — and otherwise only to investigate security issues or abuse, to comply with the law, or in a merger or acquisition, with notice to you.

• People don't read your Google data. Our staff access it only with your explicit permission (for example, when you ask us to look into a support issue), where it's necessary to investigate a security or abuse problem, or where the law requires it.

• You stay in control. Disconnect the integration inside Nex, or revoke access from your Google Account permissions, and we stop accessing your data. See our data deletion page for how synced data is removed.

How We Use Information

We collect and use your information to:

• Deliver and improve our services

• Create and enrich contact profiles

• Provide personalized user experiences

• Offer insights and CRM features based on your business activity

• Monitor and analyze product usage for improvement and reliability

We retain your information as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting contact@nex.ai.

Your Rights

You have rights over your personal information, including:

• Accessing the information we hold about you
